Dr. Ximing Dai named CTO of Sunrise Global Solar Company

     

Sunrise Global Solar Company (Sunrise) named Dr. Ximing Dai as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer. She brings more than two decades of solar expertise and a wide expertise in research, product development and technology management. Most recently, Dai was CTO of JA Solar overseeing the development of several high-efficiency cell products and production capacity increases. She was also a member of JA Solar’s Board of Director’s.

Dr. Dai commented, "I'm excited to join the management team at Sunrise. Sunrise's experienced team and innovative technology offer a strong platform from which to develop the most efficient and cost-competitive solar photovoltaic products."

Dai holds a B.S. in electronic engineering from Zhejiang University, China and her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of New South Wales. She started her professional career in the solar industry with Pacific Solar Pty Ltd. as a research engineer.
