Hsu Kuei-Chang

Mr Hsu is a dynamic leader and expert in Operations Management and Human Resources strategy. Prior to founding Sunrise, Mr. Hsu was the Director of Sun Jun Electronics Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-tech equipment for the telecommunications and electronics industries. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hsu was a research assistant at Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute and Energy & Environment Research Laboratories where he was responsible for thermodynamics performance and efficiency R&D. Mr. Hsu began his career at a leading multi-product industrial company where he managed a portfolio of retail, real estate, and public entertainment businesses. Mr. Hsu is a native of Taiwan. He earned a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from Yuan Ze University, and a Master's in Human Resource Development from the Texas A&M University at College Station.

Ted Szpitalak
Chief Operating Officer & Founder

Mr. Szpitalak is an innovator in the solar energy industry for more than 25 years. Most recently, Mr. Szpitalak was a founding Partner of Chinese cell manufacturer JA Solar (NASDAQ: JASO), where he was a Senior Technical Advisor and helped advise the company through its initial offering on the NASDAQ in February 2007. Prior to this, Ted was a founding partner of Suntech (NYSE: STP), one of the world's leading integrated solar manufacturers, and of China Sunergy, (NASDAQ: CSUN). As a consultant, Mr. Szpitalak served as a high-level advisor to several Asian photovoltaic manufacturers and European equipment producers.

Dr. Bruce Beilby, B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D
Chief Scientific Officer & Founder

Dr. Beilby is a high-level technical advisor and head engineer to several industry-leading solar cell manufacturers. Recently, Dr. Beilby was a Partner and Lead Technical Consultant at JA Solar (NASDAQ: JASO) where he led the technical team on the development of low-cost, high-efficiency solar cells. Prior to JA Solar, he was a Senior Technical Consultant to China Sunergy, (NASDAQ: CSUN). Dr. Beilby began his career in the solar industry in the research and development departments at the University of New South Wales.

Dr. Ximing Dai, B.Sc, Ph.D
Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Dai is an experienced technology executive with a rich history in research and development. Dr. Dai was the Chief Technology Officer and Board member of JA Solar, where she oversaw a number of new technology initiatives and assisted in leading the firm through its successful NASDAQ stock listing. Prior, Dr. Dai was a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Third Generation Photovoltaics of University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr. Dai worked as a research engineer at Pacific Solar Pty Ltd., Australia. Dr. Dai received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of New South Wales and her B.S. in electronic engineering from Zhejiang University, China.
